Yep - it's another training blog. I run, I lift weights, I ride (bicycles and motorcycles), I play, I dream and sometimes... I bitch, moan and cry... all because I can!! It's all here... the good, the bad, the ugly, the reviews and the complaints... I hope you enjoy what you find here.

I am a semi - beginner athlete with a few miles under my feet, a lot of determination in my heart and a lot to learn about what I am doing (and what I want to do).
Follow along with me and discover new and exciting ways to exercise the body and mind. If you have any stories or advise to share, please show the love (or hate / indifference) in the comments section, I'd like to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to run like a river, ride it like you stole it and
lift with your heart!

Forrest Gump moment

Today started off as planned, get up, get dressed for the gym, make a shake, walk to gym, workou...WAIT - back up...

Walk to the gym??

Well, yes I had walked to the gym... and right on past it too.  From there, I thought, "why not just run."  So, I ran!

I ran to the corner, and when I got there, I thought to myself, "why not run to the other corner", and so I ran to the other corner.

When I got there, I thought, "why not run to the new park."  So, I ran to the new park.  When I got to the new park, thought, "why not run the entire perimeter of the park", so I ran the entire perimeter of the park.

When I got done with that, I thought about going home, but kept on, right past my subdivision.  When I saw that I had passed my subdivision, I thought, "why not run to the next corner", so I ran to the next corner.  When I got there, I decided to cross the street and run the the opposite direction from which I had just come.  So, I ran in the opposite direction from which I had come.

When I got there, 3 1/2 miles later, I decided I didn't want to run anymore so I just turned around and walked home.

Life is like a box of Nikes... ya never know where they're going to take you.

It was windy and a tad cloudy but a pleasant morning, it was a good morning to be outside mixing it up with the elements...  I don't regret not going to the gym today.
